New ATC's

Aren't I good - new posts 2 days in a row :)
Here are some recent ATC's I have done for some yahoo group swaps.  Top left is called "Free Spirit" and was done for the theme People of the Sea,,  I have used horse bandage and real sand on it.  Top right is called "Talking to the Raven Spirits" and was for the theme Gothic Silver and Black.  I have used air conditioning duct tape on this one.  I have 2 spare, so if you would like one please leave a comment.  Bottom left is called "Where is he?" and was for a Medieval Landscape themed swap.  I have one of these left over, so once again, leave me a comment and it can be yours.  Bottom right is called "London Gentleman".  It won't take too many guesses for the theme for this one - Vintage Male.

Time for some more art

Here are some ATC's made in the last few months for a group I am. I have been running them trying to get some inspiration and swapping going. The themes in order of viewing are Christmas, Industria Technique, Fave Colour, Floral and Around the World. Please ask questions if you want to know what I used in making a particular one.

ACTSA Camp ATC's

Here are some of the ATC's I made for Canberra Stamp Camp. The theme was "Nostalgia". I really challenged myself and hand drew the 40 images for them. What an idiot I am. They are not all as nice as these two - my drawing still needs a lot of practice. And drawing 2 inches square is not easy. But if you are one of my stamping buddies in Australia, leave a comment and I will send you one of the 5 or 6 I have left over.

And finally for a big update day - some more ATCs

Here is some ATC's I've done over the last 12 months or so and some I have received.

The first photo are all mine. The 2nd photo top row are mine and the bottom row are ones I have received. If you see one you have sent me and would rather not have it up here, just let me know

Goth ATC

Here is the ATC I did for the Gothic ATC swap on Arty-oz. I really love the gothic style and can see myself getting more into the style. The darkness and swirls etc appeal to me. It would be more what I call "pretty goth" rather than ugly and extreme goth that people expect though.

Fleur De Lis Swap - "Prince of France" ATC

I joined another great swap on the Arty Oz group. The swaps in this group amaze me and even though some of got theirs and I haven't as yet (mail takes a while to the middle of Qld) I know I will be getting some great returns.

I love the Fleur de Lis and often use it in various forms in my artwork. I looked up the history of the Fleur de Lis for this swap and found it very interesting - here is some of it and what I based my ATC on. Thanks to Wikipedia for the info and here is the link for the full history that is well worth a read - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleur_de_lis.

It is an enduring symbol of France, but, being regarded most notably as the emblem of the monarchy, was not adopted officially by any of the French republics. On the contrary, as Spain is a constitutional monarchy, the fleur-de-lis symbol is associated with the Spanish King Juan Carlos I (of French dynasty origin) and the Kingdom of Spain.

In the reign of King Louis IX (St. Louis) of France the three petals of the flower were said to represent faith, wisdom and chivalry, and to be a sign of divine favour bestowed on France.[14] During the next century, the 14th, the tradition of Trinity symbolism was established in France, and then spread elsewhere.
